Next North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival 29th April to 7th May 2010
West Country Walks also runs the North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival which takes place every May around the May Day Bank Holiday over 9 days. We are also now running an Autumn Walking Festival in late September, early October each year over 4 days.
The Spring walking festival will be ready to view in mid to late December. Walk tickets can be purchased on-line at the walking festival web site www.walkingnorthdevon.co.uk. Ticket sales are always brisk in January and February, so if you would like to join in then don't leave it too late to book. The guided walks have a set number so once full they become unavailable. We look forward to seeing you.
GPS Routes
We have also provided GPS routes for some walks and rides. To access these you will need a GPS hand-held unit that can download tracks. The files are based on mapping from www.tracklogs.co.uk. You will need the map of the south west at the least which comes with the program and is very reasonably priced.
We hope you enjoy our walks and rides and we would welcome any feedback. Paths in the summer can get overgrown especially after a rainy period. They endeavour to cut them back every month to two months depending on the popularity of the path. Stiles are being replaced with bridle or kissing gates which could mean that the directions refer to a stile if they have been recently replaced. Please take this into consideration.
Come and enjoy some outings through glorious countryside and coast. You will be glad you did! Please tell everyone your experiences by writing a review. Go to the outing, as you did when buying it and click on the review to write your comments. |
