Grade: Moderate to strenuous and vertiginous in parts

Details

This walk takes you along some most spectacular coastal scenery. If you suffer from vertigo, maybe you should give this walk a miss, but otherwise it is very much worth going for the views. It takes you along the impressive coast path passing a high waterfall before dropping down into the Heddon Valley. Here you can divert to visit the beach and restored lime kiln. The walk visits Hunter's Inn for a chance of refreshment before returning along the wide old coaching road which follows high above the coast path you walked earlier.
