The North Devon and Exmoor Walking Festival

Our walking festival, run by us, takes place each year around the May Day Bank Holiday, usually starting at the end of April and running for 10 days into May.

It offers walkers a range of guided walks led by local enthusiastic walkers as well as rangers from the Exmoor National Park, the North Devon AONB, the National Trust, South West Lakes Trust and the Crown Estate at Dunster.

The walks range from around the 4 mile mark for a half day walk up to a 10 mile hike for the more energetic walkers among us. So there are walks for all abilities. This area is surprisingly hilly, so 10 miles is usually ample even for hardened walkers.

You can get the full details of the festival from its website at www.exmoorwalkingfestival.co.uk.
